Ballet Camp

Paige was lucky enough to get to go to ballet camp this week! I was so excited for her because I danced when I was her age and I thought she would really like it (and she did)!!

The "Tutus and Tiaras" camp was just perfect for our little princess. Each day she wanted to put on a show and kind of show us what she learned.

Another highlight of the week was Paige wearing a leotard. She picked these out when she picked out her out her new gymnastics leotard and it was fun getting her dressed each morning. The only real struggles we had were that she wanted to wear her gymnastics leotard to ballet.

Thank you Nana for your help and we can't wait to dance some more!

(And I couldn't forget about our other little ballerina!)

'Nastics

Monday, Monday! Our Mondays are quite busy because I work on Mondays (and Tuesdays). But the best part of Mondays come at 6:30 when Paige goes to gymnastics.

We enrolled her in March when we moved p here. She wasn't in preschool so we knew she needed something to do. Gymnastics was the answer! She absolutely loved it. The spring semester ended in May but we kept on going because she enjoyed it so much. The evening time can be a bit challenging with bedtime but she has had a blast!

Sporting the new leotard! First day to wear a leotard - big day here! I bought one that she picked out at target back in March when we started. It was plain black because she didn't want any sparkles. Last Monday she came home saying she wanted a leotard. I pulled the one we bought out of her closet and she asked me where te sparkles were. Lucky for her it was too small so we had toget a new one.

She didn't want to miss any of the action!
I guess Grace decided she had enough and was ready to leave as she carried her backpack towards the door!

Paige was lucky enough to have all 6 grandparents there - one of the perks of living here!

Back to Blogging

Well, it has been awhile since I updated the blog and so much has happened!

I think I am going to try a new approach and use the iPad or my phone to do the posting. Let's hope I can keep it up.

So, what's new with the Wrights?

1) We moved to Huntsville! I don't think I ever made it blog official. This is a long story for another day. And we are building a house - fun stuff!

2) Paige is in part time school and Grace starts in August.

3) Grace is walking!

That pretty much sums up our life right now!

                        The house!

Auburn's Football Season

As I have mentioned before, I think, Paige is a little dramatic at times.

Her thoughts on Auburn's football season this year...

Ok, so she really doesn't think this, but it is fun to pretend.

Even though our season hasn't been that great it is still great to be an Auburn Tiger!!

Grace's Photo Shoot

Like any parents we love to take pictures of our daughters and often times can't decide which picture we like best.  So, I decided I would share a bunch!  Here goes...

And a few more...

Let's Hit the Road

We made our first road trip to Birmingham and Huntsville back in October.

Brad had a meeting in Birmingham so we all loaded up, dogs included, and headed that way.  Nana and Papa Joe were so sweet and met us in Birmingham to pick up Paige and the dogs since we were staying in a hotel and Paige could have some one on one time with them.  After Brad's meeting we headed up to Huntsville too.  There we relaxed and enjoyed our time with family.

This was the first time I dressed them alike and I wasn't able to get a picture - boo!  But, I know there will be plenty of other opportunities for this type of picture.

Come Visit!

We love it when we have visitors!

Over the past couple of months we have been lucky to have Brad's parents and my mom and step dad come down for a couple of visits.

Nana and Papa Joe came down to the beach and they took Paige down for one night.  The girl had a blast!  Uncle Justin and Aunt Christina were there too so Paige had 4 people waiting on her hand and foot.  They said at one point the 4 adults were building a sand castle and Paige was sitting back directing (hmm...wonder where she gets that from...ha!).  Nana and Papa were able to then come and spend a couple of nights with us.

Nanny and PaPaw were able to come down 2 different weekends so Daddy could go to the Auburn games and I didn't have to spend the night by myself.  I sure appreciated the help and the company!  The first weekend we worked non-stop on different things.  Nanny helped me clean out a little then do the neighborhood garage sale while I took Paige to get her flu shot and PaPaw watched Grace.  I love organizing and have discovered I am a slight pack-rat.  I tried to clear somethings out and we made a little money.  The best part was afterwards when we took what we didn't sell to the thrift store.

We were pretty low key during their next visit.  They were able to go to the Fall Tailgate with us at church.  I think we all had a great time; I know I did!
